About Our Milk

Regionally, we keep a few thousand acres open for agricultural land and space. Our cows spend their summers in our local pastures and the winters on our dairy farm.  People enjoy seeing the cows in the pasture, and we’re proud to have preserved the green countryside for over 300 years.
  • We grow 300 acres of our own cow feed:  150 acres of corn, plus 150 of grass for hay.
  • We milk the cows at 4 am and bottle that milk by 9 am.
  • Our cows and milk are hormone-free.
  • Click and compare our milk price the next time you grocery shop.  Many Richardson’s ice cream customers also become milk customers when they learn that our milk is fresher and lower priced than the brand they usually buy.
